From her origins as a Celtic Sea Goddess, and her literary transformation into the arch-enemy of Arthur and Merlin, we’ll follow Morgana’s stories through the timeless landscapes of North Cornwall, via waterfalls, caves, holy wells and cliffs.

Our band of pilgrims shall search for Cornwall’s sacred feminine in the land and waters, on a journey that includes song and tale, herblore and wild-swimming, as we journey slowly to seek the divine feminine in Kernow.

Itinerary

Where we Walk

Saturday begins at 9:30am in by Boscastle harbour.

From here we walk along a rushing river into deep woodlands to search for the chapel and holy well of Madryn. We then pass the fairy tree of Boscastle on our way to the coastal clifftop path, which we follow to St Nectan’s Glen.

On Sunday we meet at 9:30 at Rocky Valley, whose labyrinths we follow before walking the cliffs west for Tintagel via the cove of Bosinney. We enter the legendary castle, then descend to the cave within the cave. From here we ascend once more for the clifftop church to offer holy water to the stones.

FAQ

Testimonials

“One of the most beautiful things I’ve done” (Sam, pilgrim)

“The richness of it all, from the wildflowers, the trees, the flow of the water, the different energies felt...” (Linda, pilgrim)

“I enjoyed every moment, and have had an unusually peaceful mind since.” (Lisa, pilgrim)

“So magical. A truly special day. So grateful.” (Rupal, pilgrim)

“I always think that when you are having an experience, there is a balance to be had between capturing it, to be a wonderful memory later (plus the beauty!) and actually experiencing it in your body and mind in that moment. I normally err on the side of taking a few not great snaps and trying to inhabit the moment. I don’t think I have ever got the balance quite right yet. It is really wonderful to have your beautiful images to do that for me, so thank you.” (Ros, pilgrim)
